skiffytown League of Heroes

A new hero alliance, The Maryland Defenders, is currently preparing to go public. The founding members are Culann, Bunnyman and myself. We will be focusing on animal rights and responsible pet ownership as well as environmental issues. We have written a declaration of principles, a charter, are setting up a website and have already begun to establish contacts with local rescue/adoption organizations for community service.

We would like to act as an arm of Skiffytown, involving any league members who are interested.

What we would like to know is how we go about petitioning the league for recognition and membership of The Maryland Defenders into Skiffytown.

We have prepared an information packet for submission to the league as soon as we know to whom it should be sent. I could find no information in the Skiffytown Charter in relation to this.

Can anyone fill me in on the proper protocol?

Melee I am very much in favor of what you are doing. I have a deep love for animals and I get infuriated anytime
I see a case of abuse. Our goal to help the living should not be relegated solely to the human race, especially when
animals cannot speak out the way we do when they are being mistreated or need assistance.

Can you send me any links to any websites you might be setting up as well as an email with the documents you have
prepared put on as attachments? Thanks.

Melee, so far in talks with other Senior Staffers the general sentiment is that you have the green light for this.
Unfortunately I have not had the chance to look over the documents thoroughly but in so far as whether the
Senior Staff is in favor of the creation of the Maryland Defenders be assured that it is all good.
