My best geuss is that this was the script for the proposed Red dwarf feature film. That's why they didn't use a live audience, canned laughter or the same cheesy special effects we all know and love. In a way, now that I've seen the whole thing, I understand why they didn't use them.

The first episode kinda scared me because it wasn't very good really. Once the second episode aired I understood where it was going and it all made sense.

All told, I'm very happy with the final result.

My dear dwarfers, there it was - the mythical series nine.

I am overwhlemed. I can't believe it's over already.
