Shockwave,

I can't yet commit to being there - too much is dependent on when my new job starts up. (Which will determine if I have the cash for the drive, and if my uniform gets completed by then). But Indy is only about a three hour drive from me - so I will certainly put it on my list of things I'm trying to accomplish.

No need to worry about crash space - I'm always up early anyhow, so I can easily get there from here.

Thanks to a few more donations, I've earned $305 for the JDRF! I'm almost at the $350 goal I have set!

Shockwave, the Circle City Superhero is checking in after the JDRF walk.

Things went really well! This was my first walk, and I had a good time. It was me, Zombie Hunter, and our dog Captain Weiner-dog.

I met, and introduced myself to many groups that were in attendance at the walk. We saw dozens of dogs, and I had my picture taken with several people.

I handed out the same Skiffytown League of Heroes fliers that I always hand out. It has the mission statement from the site, and web-sites address.

I’m not even sure how many people were there, but we raised over a half million dollars here in Indianapolis. That’s pretty sweet! I want to thank all you who donated again. You are wonderful!

It felt really good to get this letter. I'm probably going to be hanging it on the wall here. But this is a thanks to all of us. I walked under the team name of "Skiffytown League of Heroes." And, if it weren't for all of your donations, I wouldn't have raised a dime.
