we got new dogs 3/4/ 09.
thay are so cute!
Max is a puppy & Moses is 5 years old
we go out and play with them ever day befor & after school.
Max like to jump up and down all the time. & he vary hyper.
Moses is a nice calm dog.

she beat me too it!
but she didn't mention
they both were slatted to be.... ended. (but that wasn't a factor we considered before adopting)
they both got their shots and fixed and are mostly getting on well with eachother.
Mose was considered abandoned.
His owners moved and hired the neighbor to take care of him for a month till they returned for him. 3 months later he was given to the shelter. He had been in the back yard in a kennel on a tieout alone for 3 months. The neighbor would feed him once a day.
Max was found wondering around in town on valentines day. He was skitish and way too thin. No one claimed him.
adult dogs are given 7 days (after a 3 day hold on strays) to be adopted and pupies 10. Both ours were well beyond that time limit and not being considered for a Shuttle (sent to another shelter)
Anyway.
We love the boys and are have great fun with them

shelter dogs are the best dogs. Good on you for saving them when you did. Every dog deserves a chance at a happy ending.
