I don't know if I configured the programming scheduler properly....I have tonight's show (March 3rd) set as the default show which should loop and run whenever nothing else is running. I have the debut show plus last night's clips running from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. for anyone who missed it. Eventually we will have more shows running on specific days and times....and hopefully at some point we can start doing some live broadcasts.




/edit Nope...I had it setup wrong......I went back and adjusted it....unfortunately it restarted the show in mid-broadcast......learning process.......learning process.

Just finished up the March 4th show....It's scheduled to run 1:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. tonight.

I assume there will be an archive for past broadcasts?

Yeah, I will try to set up an archive this weekend when I have more time. Right now it's mostly just banter and music. I'm hoping to see actual "shows" at some point once people have more time to participate.


If anyone has any show ideas or would like to be a DJ, please contact me.

If you play music on your show, royalties have to be paid on each song. These fees come out of my subscription fee at Live365, plus Live365 airs a few short commercials on the broadcast which they claim also helps foot the bill for the Royalties.

ALso, the broadcasting rules require that we don't play more than 3 songs from any one album per hour....they also have limits on how many songs can be played from each artist per hour.

I would like to see some talk shows too.

Thanks...yeah the first two shows had sound issues......the commentary and dialog was too muffled or low....but I think I've resolved that issue now. These are just practice runs to learn and familiraize myself with the software and equipment. The next thing I want to try is call ins and phone interviews so I can try out the digital hybrid system.




I have started setting up archive files on FileDen.com, I will condense everything except I will leave out the music to save space.


If anyone wants to broadcast a show of their own....or has show ideas please let me know. I would like to see other Skiffies get in on this.

I just set up tonight's broadcast to start at 5:00 p.m. and loop until 3:00 a.m., the older shows will run after that and loop until tomorrow evening. Be sure to check out tonight's broadcast and Vick's Pick for the evening.

Thanks DC, I know people will eventually get tired of hearing my annoying voice so I'm hoping others will take interest and create their own shows to put up for broadcast.
